Fate has brought me to a place I face for lifetime’s days A ship to take me away The arc to save the human race has blasted off to space gives home another meaning We say goodbyes to what we’ve known what’s hidden’s now been shown gives me a funny feeling We float, expand into the stars past Jupiter and Mars no limit to our reaching Travelling across the sea of space we’re voyagers who face no final destination The earth explodes behind our gait with molten rocks as rain no chance for visitation But you, who listens to the tune can look up to the moon and see imagination Of us, of purple colors must express our tales of dust with lines of harmonization

Bluebird 03:48
I’m telling you To forget your blues All the reds and yellows Falling down to paint the meadows In the forest lives a little songbird singing his song I’m asking you if you could sing along it won’t take long She’s flying through Into the tune All the trees and flowers Harmonize to sunset skies In the forest lives a pair of little songbirds singing their song I’m asking you if you could sing along it won’t take long

Waves are crashing on my mind As I plunge into the ocean of myself And I see that the coral’s in bloom As I venture to the forest of kelp As the sun sets on the land of sand I hold my breath as a mermaid takes my hand And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water I don’t want to leave this place underneath This grain of sand drifting ‘round underwater blues I’m sinking in the gloom Im diving deeper through the phytoplankton glow As the kraken and the whale do battle on the ocean bed And bioluminescent stars paint the murky depths And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water And I feel like a fish out of water

The politician is on a mission with oily fingers And I want to hear what he has to say by the way The world today is in a state of disarray We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes The seas are rising and I’m crying via cellophane tears All the years to face our greatest fears and now we’re near A runaway fate that I hate that we’ve made We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it Anymore America’s woes America’s woes America’s woes We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it We can no longer take it

Gaps In Time 03:48
One two three four So I’m feeling like I’m falling through the gaps in time That you find When you’re at the end of the line And I see her in the rain As regrets reflect from teardrops that she shed When she was in pain Oh how I miss when she was around All the things we found together As the world was turning ‘round And I think to when it stopped As she left without a breath I just think she really rocked Then I meet her in my dreams Laughing catching up On all the things we’ve seen All alone beneath the willow The young rabbit's cooking cabbage And the table’s set for two And he’s thinking of the past He’s using thyme in his recipe It tends to be a little bit dry His cheeks are dampened by his tears About lost years they’ve spent apart She seems so far away from here They used to play beside the stream Oh how it gleamed in the summer sun He wished the clocks would run back in time Replaying everything they had Even watching all the moments that were sad

I’m at home on the radio That’s where you take it slow Cutting records in the studio All I’m asking is don’t ya know Guess I’ll see you at the show That’s where you gotta go go go And all that I can see is our psychedelectricity Oh and all that I can see is our psychedelectricty It’s the electrical connection Yes it’s the electrical connection Yes its the electrical connection On the mountain lives a magi and while she’s talking to the skies We’re having fun as we listen to her hum dee dum dum dum We recount what we have found by just breaking it down And all that I can see is our psychedelectricity Oh and all that I can see is our psychedelectricty It’s the electrical connection Yes it’s the electrical connection Yes its the electrical connection So as we search around For some futuristic sound We find ourselves in space And try to keep up to the pace Of cosmic counterpoints As if we had a choice And all that I can see is our psychedelectricity Oh and all that I can see is our psychedelectricty It’s the electrical connection Yes it’s the electrical connection Yes its the electrical connection It’s the electrical connection It’s the electrical connection It’s the electrical connection, yeah It’s the electrical connection It’s the electrical connection Yes its the electrical connection Yes its the electrical connection

about

Fall through the Gaps In Time and hitch a ride on Purple Corporation’s sonic spaceship. This EP marks a significant change in style for Purple Corporation, and is the first release since the group’s reformation as a 5-piece band featuring Miles From Space (vocals & trumpet), Jacob Walter (guitar), Nick Olosky (guitar), Matt Williams (bass) and Sam Jacobson (drums). We visit a myriad of soundscapes throughout our journey, touching on subjects such as love, climate change, and the story of how we found our sound. With a little bit of magic and a dash of science we combine an eclectic mix of genre to capture a multigenerational appeal, creating our signature psychedelectric sound.
